The question of hybrid vs a petrol car, who will prevail? got its answer through “The Green Hill” race in Nordschleife. The new face of performance monitoring has emerged and a thrilling race of twenty kilometers with 154 turns with the Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel and teammate Mark Webber will decide the fate of hybrid vs petrol car. Sebastian Vettel is driving the 364 HP Infiniti M35h V6 HYBRID and Mark Webber is riding on the 320 HP Infiniti M37 V6 PETROL. The Hybrid car accelerates from 0 to 100 in just 5.5 seconds as compared to 6.2 seconds of the Petrol car. The thrilling race brings out the benefit of stored energy in Hybrid car, which gives boost to the acceleration, and then finally Hybrid Prevails.

Toyota’s FT-86 concept will be officially revealed next week at “Tokyo Motor Show. it has attractive & aggressive aesthetics, Subaru-sourced boxer engine and a rear-wheel drive. it adds up a passion to the Japanese automaker’s sterile lineup. The vehicle is collaboration between Subaru and Toyota.

The little coupe design is well disguised, but looks like a Fuji Heavy project, as it shares some Subaru design hallmarks. The masked prototype designed on the shape of the WRX, with a snub nose, bold and bulging curves. The big hood gives aggressive appearance. The rump is Impress hatch-like. The massive rear wing is disguised by heavy camo. It isn’t sure that the shape and form the production bodywork, but don’t be surprised to see the Scooby crew make a chunkier aesthetic than Toyota.

The vehicle’s basic layout, the 2+2 cabin is placed over rear axle, appears as favor motivation by the rear wheels. The Subaru will sport direct-injection 2.0 liter boxer engine sitting under the hood. If it can produce nearly 200 horsepower, it will be superb for the Subaru, since the Toyota FT-86 is found to be a foot short to an Impreza. The spy photo shows a tiny form factor. Adding turbocharging means a tuner’s delight and compatible to big boys.
word out is that Subaru is not sold on the idea of rear-wheel drive Toyota-designed, which may contradict Subaru’s all-wheel drive signature. Subaru could add its trademark drivetrain, perhaps Toyota is bossing.
